It's a laser pump used for amplifying the signal in fiber optics lines and 
amplifying fiber signals in routers. It also increases bandwidth by about 
50%.
Getting back to p-subs, I've read some interesting comments on H2O2. I 
started looking there and finally ended up at the Penn State  
http://www.arl.psu.edu/. I also researched oxygen concentrator when my 
father in law had lung cancer. These wouldn't be much help to us, since they 
selectively remove Nitrogen and oxygen, using zeolite resins, from existing 
air. I was going to redesign the unit and make it a lot smaller and 
efficient than the one that he had, but old father time and other priorities 
have prevailed. Anyway, I'm taking night classes and promoting my new 
invention.I have little time for my sub designs. It's good to know that you 
guys are making progress. Oh, I took a big hit in the market :(, and my 
nicaraguan island is out of the picture, unless I wanted to permanently 
resde there.
