Hi Ray,
I was just in Portland yesterday for a 50th wedding anniversary.  Flew back 
to California today.  BUT a friend was showing me the downtown waterfront 
last night and all the development and improvement in the 15 years since I 
moved away from there....   about 5:30 pm last night I glanced across the 
Willamette river and there by the new OMSI Park (hands-on science deal for 
the public)  was  a submarine docked.  I figure that tours are available or 
it wouldn't be parked there!  Of course it closed at 4:30!   At that point I 
didn't even have time to drive over for a closeup. So check it out!
