Hi
I would think that it would be cheaper in the long run to
use the rough design and start from scratch. Without the
requirement for mil spec and using modern control systems
and engines I bet it would end up cheaper than the rebuild
cost with all of its government problems.

I bet they would make sure that the pressure hull was
useless as well.... sigh.
