We both know you know more about this than I do.

My understanding is that the equation "Force = Mass X Velocity" defines the
momentum energy of a moving object; is that essentially correct?

What I'd like to do is calculate how many pounds of "push" my motor and prop
are generating; if it's not too complex, how do I go about determining that?
What are the factors and variables used in the equation?

The ultimate goal will be to use that calculated "thrust force" as part of
another equation relating thrust to hull form and drag with the intent of
computing potential speed.  Can do?
