They are the product of one manufacturer, in Miami. And yep, they work just as advertised. They scavenge O2 from the ambient air and add it to hydrogen to make water which is then dripped back into the cells. If the acid gets on them, say if the battery were tipped, it will poison the units and they stop working. And they last a long time, although I don't know how long. Vance
