I was told they just drip water back down into the cells. So maybe they contain a catalyst on which the hydrogen gets stuck onto oxygen out of the air?

Anyway, a neighbor has a set on on L-16's which have been there for more than five years, I'm sure. He claims he's never added water to the batteries since installing them.

Does anybody know if hydro-caps is a brand name, if they available from more than one manufacturer, etc.?
