Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Re: Langkawi Islands

I remember back around 1990 I developed a friendship with a guy named Erik
that I attended class with at the University. At the time, he was attending
college as an alternative to a sentence of at least 5 years for conspiracy
to traffic. Obviously he turned States evidence. Anyway, he told me horror
stories about his
Uncle-in-Law who used to take advantage of his acquired power as a
crack-dealer. Years ago, he was pushing smack. Of course, crack was more
in style then, and today for that matter. This guy had been in it for a
long time. Hell, it was his career. He was and is--as far as I know--a
professional drug pusher.
This guy (Uncle) apparently fancied himself as some sort of King. He even
had a throne in the crackhouse that he sat upon with his two Doberman Dogs
along with his huge African-American bodyguard. Young women would present
themselves all hours of the day and night willing to do whatever to obtain a
pull, or toke from his stem. Oh, the power of crack!
He would send them off on tasks that included: B&E, drug delivery,
entertainment of friends, or spontaneous oral pleasure of his dogs.
Erik quickly became sickened by his Uncle's excesses. Erik said the guy was
beginning to think of himself as some sort of God. The opportunity came
about after a drug bust to get out of the game. Erik took advantage of the
offers from the law-enforcement and turned his life around. He was quite
intelligent, but suffered from low self-esteem.
After attending College a few quarters, he came to the realization that he
was just as good as the rest. In fact, he was--in some cases--a little
superior. Today he is a Correctional Officer at a State-sponsered juvenile
facility. He makes a difference when it comes to intervention because he
has been there and done that.
No doubt he and his connections could provide us with referrals should we
acquire an Island.
