.(followed by sheepish grin). What have you been up to?? Do I recall
rightly that you took over the KItteridge deal or made some similar
arrangement?? Maybe that's what some of the P-subbers need - a set of
George's plans! I don't want to whip the deceased( horse, that is) but it
just seems so straight-forward . .the subber who used the analogy of his
house plans being shared freely with his neighbor ( Big Dave, I think it
was); Very reasonable, laudable, and generous . .providing that you OWN the
plans and all the rights to them! The 'white paper' idea is kind of cute .
. get all the info on a one-use basis, sift thru' and pick out the best
features, and then produce a 'white paper' synopsis which steals only the
best ideas and doesn't bother with the rest. Oh, well . .
        Are you going to DEMA or UI2000 (ADC)?? I'm leaving for Las Vegas
tomorrow - worked this whole weekend getting the latest 'Exosuit' prototype
ready to ship tomorrow - looks great ! ( IMHO) If you are going to DEMA,
let me know  . .fax or call at the Bally Hotel . .I'm MC'ing the big
'Diving Awards Gala' on the evening of the 20th . .the first time the DEMA
'Reaching Out' award, the NOGI from the The Academy of Underwater Arts and
Sciences, and the HDS-USA "Pioneers of Diving award with all be given at
the same venue. E.R. is going to try to make it to give out the E.R. Cross
award ( he was in Santa Barbara undergoing HPo2 therapy for a leg ulcer)
Andre Galerne, Sylvia Earle, Jean -Michel Cousteau, Bob Hollis, Andy
Rechnitzer, Cathy Church, James Cameron, Ricky Grigg will be getting awards
. . also lifetime NOGI to Albert Falco ( Co-incidently, Capt'n Phillipe
Talliez got it last year) . worth going!!  In Houston, I'm giving a paper
on the past two seasons commercial work with the submersible 'DeepWorker' -
should be lots of action . .that's real ROV territory! Then back to the
attic for Underwater Canada, March 5th  in Toronto, I also have hotel
reservations for the NAMM show in Los Angeles, but it's the same time as
U/W Canada. My daughter will be at U/W Canada flogging memberships in
HDS-Canada, so I may just get her to show my ADC video and I'll sneak off
to NAMM ( National Association of Music Merchants . .it's a long story!)
        Finally, did I see some posts, a while ago , where you were
thinking about coming up here to hang out and kick the tires? ( thrusters?)
 If so, be sure that the invite still stands and I look forward to it. Come
up when the weather's good and maybe we can wangle some diving . . .
