Radial Opening Reinforcement - ABS RULES   

This form calculates reinforcement for RADIAL hull openings using rules from ABS Steel Vessel Rules 4.4.1/7 Openings and Reinforcement.

A properly designed radial opening requires that the Designed Reinforcement Area MUST BE equal to or greater than the Required Reinforcement Area.   Adjust the parameters you supply to the calculator until the value shown in Designed Reinforcement Area is greater than the value shown in Required Reinforcement Area.
