The Personal Submersibles Organization was established in 1996 to promote and encourage discussion of the safe design, construction, and operation of small manned submersibles.

OUR MISSION:

  • Maintain a centralized repository for technical information, design references, archived discussions, and operational knowledge

  • Encourage collaboration and the open exchange of ideas among builders, pilots, engineers, and underwater enthusiasts worldwide

  • Advance practical standards, safety procedures, and best practices for privately owned manned and unmanned submersibles

  • Support education, experimentation, and scientific exploration through the responsible use of personal submersibles
